Ashley and dennis were married on July 14th, 2019 in a garden wedding celebration at Celebrate Snug Harbor. It was a very romantic, memorable day for all.
It was really a dream for us to have an outdoor, daytime wedding. When we started researching venues, Dennis and I really loved Celebrate Snug Harbor because we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We were blown away by its natural beauty and elegance. When we toured the grounds we immedietly knew it was everything we ever dreamt about for our wedding day.
I purchased my wedding gown from Castle Couture in NJ. Castle Couture is a wonderful salon filled with thousands of gorgeous gowns and dresses from some of the finest designers in the world. They styled me in a lace wedding gown designed by Pronovias. I was going for a more “romantic style” with all the lace and the higher neck line of the dress. I wore my hair pulled back with soft curls so it looked a bit more natural. The Pronovia gown, the bouquet with lush greens and soft floral details cascading down, was highlighted perfectly by the rich tones of the Tuscan Garden for our ceremony.
We chose to have our ceremony in the beautiful Tuscan Garden. The day continued with our reception in the the Tented Pavilion. We knew we always wanted an outdoor wedding and the Tented Pavilion was the perfect spot on Snug Harbor’s grounds to have just that.
Our wedding plan was to have a minimalist wedding that was filled with lush greenery and and soft florals. The centerpieces consisted of eucalyptus and white roses. guests favors were mini succulents that everyone loved.
We acted as our own wedding planner, with the help of the Celebrate Snug Harbor team. The invitations and ceremony fans were both DIY created by my sister Leah.
Having yard games present at your wedding adds a unique and, oftentimes, unexpected touch, It’s an affordable element of fun that can be easily added to a cocktail hour and/or reception. Bonus, it’s the perfect activity to have present if you have guests who don’t drink, children, or just need a break from the dance floor.
We are so lucky to have delightful couples like Ashley and Dennis to work with at Celebrate Snug Harbor. A special thank you to Live Picture Studios who was on hand to capture every moment of this special wedding.
