Relish Catering + Hospitality was honored to once again partner with Global Citizen for the 2025 Global Citizen Festival, held on the iconic Great Lawn in Central Park – Serving over 3,000 distinguished guests as the exclusive caterer for the Ultimate VIP Experience. This remarkable annual event brings together advocates, artists, and changemakers committed to ending extreme poverty and protecting the planet.
As a leading provider of sustainable catering in NYC, our team was proud to curate an unforgettable culinary experience that aligned with the festival’s mission and inspired mindful enjoyment.
A Festival Fueled by Purpose and Progress
This year’s Global Citizen Festival was a powerful reminder of the impact collective action can have. From the heart of New York City, Global Citizens around the world united in purpose—resulting in real, measurable change:
- 4.3 million actions taken to protect the Amazon, expand clean energy across Africa, and support children’s education
- $280 million raised to restore 25 million hectares of the Amazon
- 4.6 million homes across Africa committed to renewable power by 2030
- $140 million mobilized for children’s education and nutrition
These accomplishments echo Global Citizen’s unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and sustainability—a mission that deeply resonates with our own values at Relish.
A Plant-Based Culinary Experience on the Great Lawn
In partnership with key sponsors Impossible Foods and Carbone Fine Food, Relish’s culinary team crafted an all-vegan and vegetarian Great Lawn Grazing Station, offering guests a fresh, elevated take on classic favorites. The menu was designed to be deliciously approachable while showcasing sustainable, plant-forward ingredients that aligned with the event’s mission.
