Fueling the Future

This November, the second annual Female Quotient AI Summit returned to New York City—and it was anything but a traditional conference. Taking over the legendary Webster Hall, the summit pulsed with feminist-tech energy from the moment doors opened. More than 400 attendees filled the venue, transforming it into a lively space where bold ideas, bright voices, and human-centered innovation took the spotlight.

This year’s core theme—AI as a tool to amplify human imagination, not replace it—inspired conversations that were equal parts inspiring and challenging. Discussions explored the nuances of ethics, judgment, and responsible innovation, while workshops encouraged participants to engage directly with emerging tools. The message was clear: When women lead the conversation around AI, the future looks far more equitable, dynamic, and human.

One of the day’s most electric moments came when Venus Williams stepped onto the Webster Hall stage. The crowd surged with excitement as she spoke about confidence, using your voice, and defining your identity in an era shaped by technology. Her presence embodied everything the summit stood for: strength, agency, and the power of women pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

To match the summit’s high-energy creative spirit, Relish Catering + Hospitality designed a food and beverage program that brought performance, color, and playful innovation into every bite. Rather than leaning on standard conference fare, our team built experiences that felt interactive and alive—aligning with the summit’s message that technology and creativity are at their best when they’re collaborative.

For lunch, our chefs created a live-action mini–pizza bar that quickly became a crowd favorite. Dough was rolled on-site throughout the afternoon, filling Webster Hall with the aroma of yeast, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Each guest received a handcrafted 6-inch pizza assembled right in front of them, layered with mozzarella, dollops of burrata, and bright tomato sauce. Watching the pizzas come together added an element of entertainment that echoed the summit’s “innovation in motion” ethos—more like a night-market pop-up than a midday meal.

As the summit progressed, we kept the momentum (and the sugar levels) high with an afternoon break that leaned into nostalgia and delight. Guests were treated to milk-and-cookie shots in three varieties: classic whole milk, rich chocolate milk, and a house-made cinnamon maple oat milk. Each glass arrived topped with its own cookie—either chocolate chip or oatmeal—and a straw running directly through it, making the entire treat edible, Instagrammable, and undeniably fun. Vegan and gluten-free brownies ensured everyone could indulge.

The sweetness didn’t stop there. A fully stocked candy bar invited guests to build their own treat bags with everything from Nerds Clusters to Hershey’s Kisses to brightly colored gummies. Throughout the day, attendees took full advantage—scooping, sharing, and returning for seconds as they moved between sessions.

As the summit shifted into its final programming block, the space transitioned seamlessly into a closing reception where specialty cocktails from the Webster Hall bar team and passed hors d’oeuvres created the perfect environment for networking and unwinding. Conversations stretched late into the evening, bridging the day’s discussions with new connections and big ideas.

In many ways, the summit’s food and beverage program mirrored the day itself: energetic, imaginative, and driven by community. The 2025 Female Quotient AI Summit wasn’t just about the future of technology—it was about celebrating the people shaping that future. And we were honored to help fuel their creativity, collaboration, and connection every step of the way.
