We are thrilled to welcome Sergio to the Relish team as our new Executive Chef.
With more than 15 years of culinary leadership experience, Sergio brings an impressive background spanning luxury catering, fine dining, hospitality, and large-scale event production. Throughout his career, he has led culinary operations for some of New York City’s premier catering and hospitality organizations, including Union Square Events, Mary Giuliani Catering & Events, The Standard Hotel, and most recently, Aqualina Catering.
A Proven Culinary Leader
Sergio’s experience encompasses an extraordinary range of culinary operations, from intimate private dinners and high-end hospitality experiences to large-scale events serving more than 3,000 guests. He has successfully managed teams of more than 100 culinary professionals, combining strong operational leadership with an unwavering commitment to food quality, efficiency, team development, and exceptional guest experiences.
His culinary journey also includes training and working in Michelin-starred kitchens in Spain, where he developed a deep appreciation for culinary craftsmanship, creativity, precision, and attention to detail. That international experience, combined with his extensive knowledge of New York’s catering and hospitality landscape, gives Sergio a unique perspective that will be a tremendous asset to our team.

As Executive Chef, Sergio will oversee all culinary operations across commissary production, workplace dining, catering, and event execution. His leadership will play an important role in strengthening our culinary programs, supporting our teams, and continuing to elevate the experiences we create for our clients and guests.
