We’re excited to welcome Julia to the Relish Catering + Hospitality team as our new Special Events Coordinator! With a strong foundation and hands-on experience across corporate and social events, with a genuine love for hospitality, Julia is a wonderful addition as we continue to grow our events team.
Julia is a graduate of Baruch College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business communication, a background that perfectly complements the fast-paced, detail-driven world of event planning. Originally born and raised in Los Angeles, Julia’s passion for events began early. At a young age, she started hosting themed dinner parties, discovering firsthand the joy of bringing people together through thoughtful planning, creativity, and great food.
Her professional journey has taken her across a variety of event styles and settings. Julia interned with Sequence Events, where she gained valuable experience working on corporate gatherings and learning the operational side of large-scale productions. She then spent time with Colin Cowie Lifestyle, immersing herself in the world of private celebrations and weddings.
Most recently, Julia deepened her catering expertise working with Keren Precel Events out on Long Island this past summer. There, she expanded her understanding of catering logistics and execution, further strengthening the skill set she brings to Relish.
When she’s not coordinating events, Julia is a true food lover at heart. She enjoys trying new restaurants and even keeps a personal booklet where she tracks her visits and ratings. That curiosity and appreciation for great food naturally informs her approach to events and hospitality!
What Julia loves most about the event world is seeing the full journey come to life – from the early planning stages to the final execution, and witnessing the client’s reaction when everything comes together.
