Relish Catering + Hospitality recently partnered with Cathay Pacific Airlines to cater the 25th New Yorker Festival, held on October 26th at the SVA Theatre. The event celebrated New York’s rich culture and diversity, offering a beautiful fall day as the perfect backdrop for guests to immerse themselves in a dynamic mix of art, politics, and creativity. As part of the festival, Cathay Pacific’s food truck, featuring a menu curated by Relish, became a highlight, allowing attendees to sample flavors inspired by international travel and culinary artistry.
The menu featured a blend of comforting and intriguing dishes that catered to a variety of tastes. Guests enjoyed braised chicken with spring onion and ginger, a warming dish with fragrant spice, while the tofu kimchi poke bowl offered a plant-based option with bold, tangy flavors. The pork rib with strawberry sauce added a surprising twist, combining savory and sweet for a delightful contrast. To round out the experience, egg tarts provided a satisfying dessert with their delicate pastry and creamy custard center.
