Relish Catering + Hospitality had the honor of catering the dazzling Broadway Direct Ambassadors Program Launch at the iconic Palace Theatre in the heart of New York City. The venue was the perfect stage for a night filled with theatrical flair and culinary creativity. As ambassadors gathered to celebrate the program’s launch, they were treated to a menu inspired by the very shows that light up Broadway every night, making the evening a true feast for all the senses.
Our hors d’oeuvres were a playful nod to some of Broadway’s biggest hits, with each dish crafted to capture the essence of a beloved show. From the Wicked-inspired Hamptons succotash featuring zucchini, white beans, and quinoa to The Lion King with a spicy jerk poached chicken salad atop a house-made plantain crisp with mango, each bite was a miniature performance in itself. Hamilton inspired truffled mushroom potato cup was a sophisticated crowd-pleaser, while Six offered a delicious chicken sausage and apple brochette with grain dijon mustard. And who could forget Death Becomes Her? Its huitlacoche tostada was a unique blend of huitlacoche flan, cilantro, and blue corn tostada that left guests buzzing with delight.
The dessert menu continued the Broadway-themed extravaganza with Sweet Broadway Inspired Sweets. Tammy Faye wowed guests with a vegan spiced apricot tartlet and raspberry. Redwood brought a decadent duo: a chocolate demitasse with vegan cream and a mocha coffee cone filled with coffee mousse and chantilly cream. For a finale worthy of the spotlight, MJ The Musical offered petite pavlovas with meringue cups, vanilla cream, and fresh berries, leaving a sweet and satisfying end to the evening.
Paired with drinks ranging from beer and wine to the signature Relish Spritz and refreshing non-alcoholic options, the night was a perfect celebration of Broadway and beyond. Relish Catering once again took center stage, planned by our event specialist Spencer Kondak ensuring that every guest left not only with a full belly but also with a deep appreciation for the artistry and creativity that goes into every dish we serve.
