Relish Catering + Hospitality was honored to partner with South Bronx United (SBU) for their 14th Annual Gala, an event that celebrated community, transformation, and the extraordinary achievements of this inspiring organization. Held at the elegant Prince George Ballroom, the evening shone a light on SBU’s mission to empower youth through soccer, leadership development, and academic achievement. With 1,700 youth reached annually, a 100% high school graduation rate, and 94% college matriculation, SBU’s impact is truly remarkable, and Relish was proud to play a part in this milestone celebration.
The Prince George Ballroom provided a stunning backdrop for the event, where guests were treated to an evening of seamless transitions—from the lively cocktail hour to an engaging reception featuring galleries of success stories and a spirited silent auction. Relish’s thoughtfully curated menu elevated the experience with exquisite passed hors d’oeuvres, interactive action stations, and indulgent dessert offerings. Highlights included butternut squash and fig tarts, traditional paellas, and Carvery station with roasted porchetta and spinach flan-stuffed kabocha squash. Sweet endings featured nostalgic treats like PB&J steamed pudding and a Milk, Cookies, & Hot Chocolate station that delighted every palate.
Relish’s partnership with SBU is more than just catering; it’s a commitment to supporting their transformative work in the South Bronx. Spencer Kondak, Event Plsanner for Relish, reflected on the collaboration, sharing, “Partnering with SBU on their annual gala is one of my favorite events of the year. Their team is so kind and incredible to work with. Supporting them in our own neighborhood is truly special.” Guests echoed this sentiment, praising the Relish team for their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional cuisine, which helped make the evening unforgettable.
As SBU celebrated raising over $430,000—making this their most successful gala yet—Relish was deeply grateful to contribute to such a meaningful cause.
